there's plenty of good builds out there , just post if the car will be all street , all strip or both and what kinda times you want to run. do you like big blocks or small blocks , a 350 is pritty much universal and parts can be found in abundance witch is why its the normal pic many ppl.

i would not get anything below a 327 engine , consider 350 , 383, 396, 400 , 427, 454 , ext and some of these can be stroked even bigger.

this is just to help ya out , also all these engines will go 400+ hp if needed with the right set up or can be used for cruise only reasons with adequate toruqe to cruise around happily.

How much money do you have?

What do you want to do with the car when you get it finished?

Read up on how to build a small block and do some research, get an idea of what you want to do and start doing it.

Ask alot of questions, do alot of research, and spend your money wisely.

Good Luck

What kind of cam do you think you would like to use?

Do you know where to get race gas?

Are there any good machine shops around your house?
