is it possible to bypass the gov on an 01 cavalier 2.2L ive found what seems to control the shift sensor and rev limiter but i cant figure out how to bypass the gov i wanna break 170km i have an intake and exhaust on the car wanna add a turbo but not if i cant get over the gov idea??? and does any one have any info on 3400 or 3800 v6 swaps i hit a wall wanna know what engine will fit and if i need different axels basicaly i wanna know if i can do it in my garage or is it too big a job for a back yard mechanic???

ok hater this is a nothing thread compaired to what i was just reading about some idiot saying its posible to cram a LS1 into a cav using the stock cav FWD tranny so answer this is it possible to do a 3400 or a 3800 v6 swap i need info i love cars and having options so can it be done and can it be done in my own home garage????
ATLEAST MY QUESTIONS ARE REALISTIC!!! in search of information who said thos are my plans anyway just asking!!!!!!!!!!

What your attempting is too big a job for a backyard mechanic. You need an expert to put a v-6 engine in. Unless your a highly skilled welder/fabricator, you should just stick with the 2.2 four banger.
