hello to everyone my question i have 66nova with 327 bore 30.over with a
com cam with lifter and roller tips rocker  my cam  is a CS 268H-10 and i have long tube headder turbo 350tran dont want alu heads i want to upgrade to bigger valve right now i have stock 283 heads will upgrading to 2.02/194 58cc hurt my compression any good info will be helpful

Upgrading from the 1.72/1.50 small valve 283 heads to a 2.02/1.60 valve heads like the one summit sells P#sum-152123 would drop compression down but would flow considerably better then those poor flowing 283 heads.

if i use 58cc chamber with 1.94/1.5 stainess vavle
will i lose a lot of compression any info THANKS

No you will not lose compression with 58cc chambers due to the fact that most if not all 283 heads have 60cc or 70cc chambers in which case the 58cc heads will increase the compression.

my question are 601 casting 305gm heads are bad choice to buy i found some with 64cc
2.02/1.6 stainless valve for less than 450.00 should i get something differen like
alum my budget 600.00 any info helpful Thanks

please help this is what i have sb327 bore 60 with flat top piston i just got some 601'heads and
realize they 58cc with 2.02/1.6 stainless vavle ported and polish im not trying
to built a racer just a little better flow than small vavle 283 heads will these heads make my compression to high where i cant use pump gas before i install them any info very helpful thanks

If they are still 58CC you will have approx. 9.5:1CR but they usually have to make the chamber a little bigger for the 2.02/1.60 valves to fit.
