if i chop the stock springs to lower my cavalier will i get a bounce like lowered rice rockets and if i take the chopped piece of spring and set it inside the spring and weld the spirls together can i stiffen the ride??? wanna know if anyones tried that yet i dont wall wreak my oil pan or tear my exhaust off.

If you cut your spings you will ruin them and probobly have the Ricer bounce. Especially if you cut them with a torch, you will change the spring rate.
Dont be cheap, buy a set of aftermarket springs that are designed for your intended use. Hotchkis is what i prefer since they are designed based on performance and handling. Eibach springs are designed based on show cars, not ride quality, which explains the price difference.
