Is $9500 a fair deal for a car in this condition?

Depends on how bad you want it. My first car was a '65 Nova. For those who don't remember GM was on strike in 65. My mom had an order in but no cars. After the N.Y. State Worlds Fair was over they packed up the displayes and took them to a dealer in Babylon N.Y.. My mom happened to be there and said I want that car on the truck. They gave it to her, a 65 SS with a 283 4spd, 411 posi. What a honey. We had to take it back to the dealer to get all the knobs unsoldered so you could turn on the lights and the radio. I miss that one.

10second.racer: it's not worth $9,500 maybe $6,500 tops
and keep in mind their is'nt an engine and it was used for drag racing so in it's current condition with out an engine it's only worth about $5,000 and thats being fair.

I can defiantly see $5000 being a fair deal. Pop in an engine cartitles and maybe you can get $9500.
