601 HO Heads on a 350

This will be on a 77 Z28 that I have. I have a set of 601 heads machined for 1.94 intake valves and retaining the 1.5 exhaust. They were unshroulded and I cleaned up the castings at the intake and exhaust ports, to smooth out the ports a bit. The chambers were cc'd at 59 cc's. I have Stock dished pistons, stock bore and stroke and un-touched bottom end in a "010" 2-bolt block with 40,000 miles. I have a Isky 264/271 Mega hyd./flat tappet cam w/ a 112 lca. The turbo 350 trans. and converter are stock. Rearend ratio is 342.1. Now it has a Edel. eps intake, 1 5/8" headers, 2 1/2" exhaust w/ x-pipe. The longblock for now is stock w/ 882 heads and cam (could be a L-48 cam). How would you think those heads would do with the Isky cam I have. Could I get, say 350 hp with all of this. Going to rebuild a "880" roller block next and some opinions some on that later. I'm a new member to this site.

You will most likely have upwards of 9.5:1 compression, so listen carefully for pinging and you will probably need to run pump premium.
A true 350 Horsepower at the flywheel may be slightly optimistic, but it's possible.

The block will not be decked when I do this. I'll clean it up and will use a .015 steel shim gasket (felpro #1094). I was told more like 10.0 to 1.

Well your compression depends on how deep the dish is on the piston. You should have around 350 H.P.

Can't seem to remember that at this time(dish volume).

You will have 10.03:1CR and I still say you will have around 350HP

You will more than 10.0:1 compression.
You better be wary of pinging on pump fuel.

That's weird, I just got back from the machine shop after having mine cc'd - they came in at 53 cc. 416 head are about 58 cc, but I don't think Chevy made two series 601 heads?

The advertised cc's for SBC heads arent correct. I've cc'ed some chambers that were supposed to be 76ccs and actually ended up with 84ccs. They were stock untouched heads.
