hey guy,
first off, I don't want to discourage you, this is not a weekend project nor a cheep one. It is very time consuming if done right you can have a nice ride. You say 93 or a 94 well a 93 is the old body style and the 94 is the new body style,if it was me I would go with the 94 has the 4l60e trans already in it as far as the wiring!! Go to www.jagsthatrun.com they have manual that I highly recommend that has in detail step by step and parts needed for the job. I have done this in my 02 s10 pick up 4x4 but I used the 330hp w/380lbs torque and it was a very time consummating project but it will nice when I get the final touches done.

hey 29 I am new also, And this is my first post. I am installing a 1989 350TBI into a 1982 GMC S15. My donor car is a 1989 Caprice 9C1 cop car. So far I am about 1/3 way through. 2 things I would like to say, 1, USE the JTR Jags that run) manuals!!! Get the Chevrolet s-10 Truck Conversion Manual, its WELL worth the 30 bucks, and I use the JTR Chevrolet TPI & TBI engine swapping manual also, its like 60bucks for both books and did I say WELL worth it. 2 Save your donor vehicle even after you take out the engine, I have saved tons of money and I use the donor car for reference. I started my truck 6 wks ago, and I do a little every few days or so. Not much spare time on my end...Mike at JTR is a nice guy. I Like the way they put the books together.

There are kits out there for just this kind of install that'll make it a ton easier for both of you guys.

BTW.... The JTR motor mounts are worth their weight in gold. You can adjust motor height, front to rear. My friend used some other brand and they were hard to set the motor in for his needs. No kit needed. And if you use Caprice exhaust manifolds that will also help on passenger side. ( are the truck manifolds the same?) You still have to "adjust" the firewall a bit but no big deal. My friend did NOT use the JTR book, now that he checks in on me every once in a while, he said he wishes he used the manual. I don't want a quick install.....I want a roadworthy vehicle..
