hello,

i have a 1956 bel air. i installed a 2101 intake the other day and ran into a little problem. no-one makes SBC staggered bolt valve covers with oil filler or pcv holes. so, would it be better to drillout a hole in the intake or drill one out in the valve cover currently installed on the car? if i was to do it on the intake how would i do that? i know the 2101 comes with the provisions to add a fill tube.

thnxs for the help

On the 2101 there is a boss where the oil filler tube would be located if machined. Check with your machine shop and see what they want to cut the hole for the tube. It will be more effort and costly to cut and modify your valve cover for a oil filler cap unless you can find the staggered bolt covers.
