It's a 400 chevy .060 over for my fathers truck. It was pulled from a car where it ran perfect at .060 over. It was rebuilt by a local shop with just a hone on the cylinders. All other parts are new except, heads (which were 6 months old Edelbrock rpm) pushrods, rockers, rods and crank. All the used parts are 6 months old except rods and crank which were reconditioned and the rotating assembly was balance.
Went to do the break in and it wouldn't turn over very good. Pulled the plugs and cylinders 5 and 7 have water. Water in the oil also. Head wasn't torqued properly? head gasket?

The engine builder at the machine shop put the heads on and he was suppose to mag the block before we did any machining on it.
Today we did a compression test and got 140-150 on all cylinders. 11:1 CR with a 288/298 solid flat tappet cam. Seems a little low. Also checked the head bolts for torque and they read only 50 lbs.
