Hey Guy,    On your puling problem did this arise after you put calipers and I think you meant {hoses} or did you have this problem before you replaced them. Also did you replace the pads and resurface the rotors. as far as the car not rolling freely, first thing I would check is the paring brake cables and rear brakes, if the rear brake shoes are bonded in stead of riveted a piece of one may have broke off causing this, also leaky axle seals and wheel cylinders etc. Then if if all that is in order go to the portioning valve it might be sticking. Email us back with some more info like millage and things mentioned above.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks
Lee

when i bought the car the right front caliper was sticking. i then replaced the calipers brake lines and pads. i still to this day have that pulling effect. like when i brake too hard the car feels like a have a line lock on it. i put new pads and lines again for the 2nd time. u think its the brake booster or master cylinder. u think i need new rotors or new steel brake lines? where is the proportioning valve located?

hey guy,    first thing if you did not turn your rotors after replacing the pads, cal and hoses that can still cause it to pull because your pads don't have a good mating surface to mate to. where you had hose or cal locking up caused a lot of heat in that rotor causing hot spots or crystallizing the rotor causing the new pad not to seat in good. the proportioning valve should be under the master cly on the frame rail or close to it. check your rotors first, then make sure everything in the rear brakes is in working order then check the valve!

thanks

check and if need be replace the flex  line on that side. it may be  colapsed internaly. sounds like the flued is not flowing back, or takong a long tme. this will keep the calipr depresed and prevent the car from roling freely. check for any blocage in the hidrolick line from the master to the botom by bleading (and checking the presure at the same time)each section at a time.
