SS gage conversion - need help

I have a 1970 El Camino SS 454 with the 3 pod dash. It has idiot lights that I want to convert to gages and a tach. I bought a new tach, gage and circuit board kit. Can anyone give me instructions on how to do this? Is it basically plug and play or is it more complicated?
