Chevelle SS? You have to be kidding! Chevy's proud tradition of building cars that LOOK as fast as they go is truly over. Ask yourself, why is corvette so popular? It's an original! A true chevrolet! Why did a little roach like P.T. cruiser take the country by storm? It LOOKS like nothing else, it was an original that sold for chump change. That is what CHEVY used to do. We used to rule the road because we used to build imagination at an affordable price! My '69 Chevelle SS is rolling in it's berth in the garage. This Impala nosed, '80's styled jellybean only cheapens the legend. Yes, a great idea, chevrolet and G.M. are thinking in the right direction. A Rear drive power house built on an affordable platform is a home run! Let's do it right, please. I so much want to buy a new Chevelle to run over those imports buzzing around town; but I want the world to recognize a hot Chevelle with distinctive classic lines. An '05 Mustang is the right idea. There will be no mistaking that beautiful car (this pains me to talk UP a Ford) for a Taurus with two doors! God, please give me (and millions of younger buyers) a reason to part with $30k on a Chevrolet!
