The right intake gaskets ??

Hi guys , i installed new intake gaskets on my chevy 454 oval port, and the gasket port openings was about a 1/4 inch bigger than the port openings on the head ??? I went ahead and put them on anyway , Is this going to be ok ?? Thanks.

The problem you have with your gaskets should be no problem at all,my buddy just rebuilt his 468 and he had the same deal but no problems yet.. by the way your name is rallynova what year of nova do you have?
