Yeap, it sure does, nothing like big inches in a small package, at least that's what my wife tells me.

I Will Say One Thing.  Chevrolet Does Need To Redesign The Rear End Of the 04 Chevelle The Taillights Just Doesnt Look As Areodynamic As the Rest Of the Car It Needs to Be Sorta Like The GTO Except The BETTER Enginerring Of Chevrolet. So Think About That Gm. Because The Back End of this Vehile Ruins The Whole Back End.  and Also Dont Make The Exhaust Tips So Wide Thats About An 3.5 In Exaust Tip Which Doesnt Go With The chevelle.  Try The 70 Look With The 2.5 In Exhuast Tip.  One Other Thing NO SUPERCHARGER!! -Ross- Gm Certified #07658

hey,

i think it is awesome that chevy wants to come back out with the chevelle.  i own a 1969 camaro and as a result love the older body styles. i think  if  some changes were made to your design to make the car resemble the older chevelles and camaros and  to have more smooth body lines and a less box like appearance, mainly in the rear, it would make the car so much better and the success of the car would greatly increase.  this is aslo becasue i would like to see a rebirth of the muscle cars as would millions of other people. no offense but the current design of the o5 chevelle does not look like any thing more than a spiffed up newer camaro and personally i don't like them. i look forward to seeing what cahnges happens with the car and hope to see it on the road soon.

I like the idea of a Chevelle concept car, but I don't like the looks of the GTO.  It looks too generic.  Ford has several throw back cars and they are selling like mad.

Make a new chevelle with the old style body lines and look, with a new modern style with smoother lines and perfomance package.  Like the T-bird of Ford has the same type of look as the old, but with a modern look.

thanks

I'm gonna come right out and say this im only 18 but i make sure i keep up on all the car news because i have a love for cars. when i heard that chevy was bringing back the chevelle i was extremely excited until i saw the concept. now dont get me wrong i love the idea of the chevelle's re-birth but it looks like a freaking cavalier. i saw the concept for the dodge charger and it looks similar to the old charger only a little more updated. why cant this be done with the chevelle. right now if i had a choice between this or the mustang as much as i hate to say this i would go with the mustang. one because the 2005 looks a lot like the 68 mustang used to also because the power the mustang would have over this.my dad used to own a 1970 chevelle ss that me and him worked on to restore so i know what im talking about. so please if at all possible don't put out a supped-up P.O.S. cavalier make it as original as possible. also i think that you should make a model of the chevelle with the big block 454.If any one wants to check out my statement about the charger here is the website http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?article=7626 . I hope that everyone can see it just to prove that it is possible for a muscle car to be re-born.

Hear ya; saw an 05 Mustang the other day on the street. At first I thouht it was a 67/68 that somebody smoothed out. But it were't, it was new.

Now don't get me wrong about the goat, they scream with that 'vette motor in there, but they look like the long parade of Poncho FWDs.

If Chevy is gonna bring back the Chevelle, how about skinning it with little reto distinction along the ideas that FoMoCo put on the 'stang. Besides GM owes us for what they did to the Camaro.

I had the missfortune of renting a 3.4 V6 Monte Carlo while travelling last week. All I can say is come-on with a Chevelle SS.

Hey guys,  just wondering if there is any ideas on what the new chevelle might look like??

U thinking on something like the Ford thunderbird idea or a new body style all together?   I think it should look as much like the origional 1970 as possible.    Why mess with perfection!!!  Im interested in a pic if any are available or any input at all would beapriciated.    Thanks!   Charlie  (a die- hard chevelle lover

If I was you Mark, I would take a drive with the Chevelle behind you. Take a look in the rear view.....if you don't want to *** yourself, your not done with the development of the car. A true muscle car should make people shake with nervous tension when it pulls up next to them. INSTANT FEVER !!!!BTW, it had better be cheaper than our "euro friends", lol !!!!
