69 Camaro rear end dimensions

Can anyone tell me what the measurement fron the inner side of the perch to the casing flange (the square with the 4 bolts on the housing) should be on a 69 Camaro 10 bolt rear.
The reason I ask is that my driver side wheel is an inch out further than the pass side which means trouble!
Am hoping that who ever had the car before me replaced the rear and welded the perches wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
