I'm swapping from carb to tpi on a 1986 IROC 305 5 speed. I also put in a 1989 350 motor. What wiring harness do I need to use? The 86 or 89?

U can try a company called painless wirring. But what you need is the computer and harness of the other car.You might need all the sensors . Knock sensor ,coolant temp etc. Also fuel pump if not the whole gas tank.Just because yhe car is computer controlled does not make the 2 systems verry similar. The TPI setup makes a lot more torque then the carb but if this sounds like too much work or money you might decide on gooing with the carb. The carb will need some adjusting and different secondairy meetering rods but other then that and a couputer chip it would run fine.Holley or accel may also be a place to check out for the wirring ideas.
