I am getting a P0147 code on my '98 Chevy half-ton. It has a 4.3 and a 5-speed.
This code comes up as Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 3).
Ok...what is Bank I Sensor 3?
Is that the sensor after the cat?
Am I looking for a wiring problem?
If it is the one after the cat, that is the only one I havn't replaced since buying the truck.
Thanks in advance

There's left and right before the cat converter and one after the converter, this is #3. The sensor is too cold which could mean its heater crapped out. Check the wiring first to make sure it has 12 volts and a good ground on the heater side of the connector.

I figured it was the rear sensor. It kinda confused me when it started talking about banks. There is a sensor on the driver and passenger side of the y-pipe and one behind the cat. I have had a flowmaster after cat system put in. I guess I should see if a wire got burnt since the install.
I posted this in four different forums and four different people confirmed what I was thinking.
Thanks, Phil

If this was "Millionare" you would've used up all your Life Lines and then some.
