Im interested in building a ls2 for my 80rs. If I already have a ls1 how much of the parts would swap over to a ls2 bare block? Im hoping almost everything. Also if someone could provide me with a good link for install info that be would great. Thanx.  

I have read in a couple chevy magazines that almost all ls engine parts are infact interchagable up to the 427 ls6.  But 1 thing you might want to check into is the computer I am not sure about that one.  As far as a link i can not think of a good one but I know if you go to a Barnes and Noble in the Automotive section they have a book for 15 to 20 dollars that is all about the how to on strickly ls series engines and I am pretty sure that book would tell you what parts are interchagable and i know about the install I have glanced at it a couple of times and from what I have read it is more then well worth it.
