I dont know if anyone makes them but I suggest 1 1/2 primary tube headers. And regular long tube headers with a long collector that is like 2 1/2 .I had a set of hooker competition headers and they are a well designed header.I had some headmans and they were not much better then manifolds.I feel the hookers were worth the extra money.Having a balance tube seems to play a big role in bottom torque, and throttle response. The 1 1/2 primaries are reccomended for 305 or smaller to keep the velocity up.

Also I dont know how far you are gooing with this engine. It will respond like any otther small block.Aluminum intake with small runners.Performer but not like performer rpm.A cam with a LITTLE more lift and keep the duration @.050 below 210 Deg.If you are still running the powerglide you can gain a lot of response from a stop by at least gooing to a th350.There is a discussion titled 700r4 in here describing that. The Idea of the smaller engines has always appealed to me.I bet right now u can get 20 mpg .
