Hello!  I'm hoping someone here can tell me if the front end of my '91 Caprice is different then that of a '91-'96 Impala?  Reason I ask is because I'm on a seach for information that will allow me to turn it into a good handling machine?  I am wondering if I should have bought an Impala instead or are they the same, just different styling?  Thanks!

well, the caprice is the little brother to the impala.  The impala typically has an upgraded anti-roll bar, sometimes  brakes, springs and better shocks.  In the back they just added an anti-roll bar and if i'm not mistaken lowered it down a bit too.  There are no differences between the suspension on a Caprice 9C1 and an impala.

If you are looking to upgrade from a base caprice then get this anti-roll bar from summit:  ACO-515G

The get the roll bar for the back off another 9C1.  Order some 1-2" lowering springs from somewhere and some adjustible gas shocks and you'll feel the difference.
