I know this is a total novice question, but what body letter denotation is a mid-80's Monte Carlo? (A, B, G, ETC.) What company, if any, makes after market suspension parts for this particular model?

Another question I have is, how do I know what year of Camaro, or Nova clip I may have? I recently bought a car that already had it installed and would like to find narrower arms for it, but need to know what year it is, so I can begin my search. Thanks in advance.

little help on the camaro clip deal. if the steering box is behind the cross memeber it is a first body unit. very small differences between the first few years, quick ratio (z28) cars had short arms on the knuckles, wide ratio had a longer version arm on the knuckle, and manual box cars had the longest of all first years. doesn't matter which you are working with so lon as theyb are a matching set.

70-74 had the box in front of the cross member difference on 75-81 and the earlier deals is gm's addition of the cat. which made it necessary to widen the pass rail to deal with the clearans issues.
