I would like to see more articles on mid-80s Monte Carlos. And information on what originally came in them for gears and horsepower ratings. I have an '85 Monte Carlo SS and would love to see what could be done to the 305 in them or even a 350 built with cheap parts a college student may afford. These cars are just Bad asses. Thats what I would like to see in the magazine

I would like to see Henry get a new tool box. I just got the Jan.08 issue and the first thing I read is Henry's lack of tools and no tool box. A milk crate for God's sake! I have been a subscriber for years (please check!) and you have always shown the latest and greatest on tools, parts, etc. Unless this is a trick for christmas, I am very disappointed with you guys. Practice what you preach! P.S. Henry please p.m. me I have a idea for and article (no it's not about tools) Jeff FNG

first I would like to see a engine go from design to dyno then to a test car in the vein of what an average car guy could afford. second and here's the rub, something a little different like perhaps a 400 sb with a short stroke 3.625 comes to mind with good after market heads and a holley stealth ram intake. testing would involve fuel economy as well as performance. any thoughts on that? Articles that get into the why of the mod. An example would be when choosing a head, why would you want to use something with an intake port volume of 170cc instead of 220cc? And... what would you expect to happen if you choose one over the other. I'm pretty new to this stuff and would like to see things like that. Some articles on electrical upgrades. More car layouts, maybe one or two older truck layouts. A free beer voucher!!

I have yet too see a dually truck built in a pro street or pro touring style. This I would love too see done. I have seen "lo-riders" and don't like them. Kills the usibility of the truck completely.

I for one would like to see more 80's car. I have a 87 monte ls. You rarely see anything on 80's car just much older muscle car. Many folk can't afford an older muscle car because of what people are asking for them. I would love to see more engine builds for the type of cars maybe a 383 or a sbc 396.

My daily driver/secondary project is a 95 S10 pickup with a 4.3/5 speed. I know there are several upgrades out there like TBI spacers, headers, and programmers, but what else can be done besides traditional machine work? How far can you push these engines? Are there any stroker kits or performance heads available?
