yeah it wasnt meant to sit like that in storage but its a long story but some of the gaskets do need replaced like i said anything can be possible by the time everything is said and done ill just end up rebuilding the engine just so i know everything is clean thanks for all your help

im thinking about just changing my carb all together sense my choke is burnt out on it and dont work right at all and just to replace the old carb even though its an aftermarket holley wich should i get in holley im looking at the street avenger 770 will it work ok with my modded 350 or what size will work best thanks

I'm not real sure as far as some of the internal mods. I had the top end redone a few years back. Cast iron 2.02 1.60 heads port and polished new edelbrock manifold. I know the block is bored .30 over. I used to have the specs on the cam but the mechanic who did the work lost the spec sheet. I know I copied it down somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. I know it's a comp cam. It's about middle of the road, a good lope but not too much. I made a few adjustments to the carb but still hasn't changed the problem. Engine runs great after a couple of minutes.
