I have what I was told was an 80 camaro clip. I have a Power steering unit from 88 IROC. Even though the PS unit bolts in fine the problem appears to be the pitman from the 88 is too long at about 6.75".
It looks like I need a much shorter pitman.
However it is possible I have the wrong link between the tie rods or did not get correct info on clip.
Can someone with 80 Camaro confirm the length of the Pitman with a PS Saginaw 800 unit?
I can send pictures and measurements if that helps
