I am installing new "a" arm cross shaft bushing kit in my 1956 chevy. Chevrolet Shop manual calls out for gm tool J-5888 "bushing remover and installer" tool kit for for the lower & upper "a" arm assemblies. This will prevent loading, distortion and damage of stamped metal "a" arms.
Does anyone know of a source for this tool or one like it? Please advise. Thank you for your attention, understanding and cooperation. Respectfully, mark pass m&jcoachworks moishe18us@yahoo.com

Years ago when I was working in a shop to finance going to college, I had a boss that just put a chisel in a rattle gun and blasted them out. Then he used a blunt tip punch in the same gun to hammer the new ones in. All I can say is it was fast and it worked.
Pete are you listening on-line somewhere?
