Hi there. I am working on a 1985 montecarlo. I have removed the computer and i would like to retain the ability to lock up my converter. I was wondering if anyone had experience wiring the converter to a toggle switch? Thanks in advance!!

hey guy, If I'm right there is a plug on the right side of the trans that you can reed your overdrive line pressure if so you can put a pressure switch in that hole and run a fused wire 14ga to a toggle switch from there to one side of the pressure switch then a 14ga wire from the other side of the pressure switch to the white wire on the trans lock up connector and the black wire coming out of the connector goes to ground on trans or engine.
p.s not real sure of the colors on trans connector but one to pressure switch and the other to ground. if you have any other questions just ask.
Thanks Lee
