Kit Car magazine talks about an article(s?) in Chevy HiP about building a 300 HP EcoTec. Anybody know what issue(s?) the article(s) is in?
Thanks!

Thanks Gearman.
I finally connected with the editors. Apparently an article will be coming in the future about the 2.2 - at least in Kit Car - they are putting it in a Cheetah body.

My 97 s10 has a 2.2 and it is rated at 118 H.P at the flywheel.I sure would not mind having a 16 valve head on it.My other vehicle is a 97 caravan that has a 2.4 liter 16 valve. It is rated at 160 h.p it is soft on low speed torque but once it winds up it pulls pretty good in the heavy van. My neighbor had a new neon with the 16v 2.4 and a turbo. He traded it for a new magnum before i got to drive it but I bet If you went easy through first and opened it up in second it would spin the tires limited slip and all. I knew he would not like it verry long he is like 56 and I dont see a lot of older people enjoying getting into something designed for a 20 year old market.Besides a neon is put togeather cheaply R/T or what ever the things fall apart.
