What's the max wheel/tire size you can run under a 71 Nova? This isconsidering no mini tubbing etc.. Stock wheel wells stock width rear end.. Wanting a more pro touring look but trying to find out can I run a 17'' rim or do I have to stay w/ a 15 or ????? Any help appreciated.  

You can probably go bigger than the 17 if you wanted it is all in the prep work before ordering expensive wheels,most places won't take wheels back if they are not stock offset. Get under car with the factory wheels on it and measure from the wheel to the leaf springs measure the gap at the wheel to the opening lip, then take off the wheels and measure the back spacing on the factory wheel. If the chevy rally it is probably 4.5 inches. when you get all this you have all you need to get a good idea of what to order.
