I've got a buddy putting a 5.3 in place of 4.8, problem is the starter is engaged already. The flywheel seems to close to the motor. The flywheel is from the 4.8 because gm didn't offer a 5.3 stick. I think all the starters are the same from 4.8, 5.3, 6.0. What do I need to make this work? Is this possible?
