You may want to fill in the blanks on what exactly you're working on before someone can help you.

Assume this chevelle is stock original since not otherwise stated so has a Rochester 2V (two barrel carb) or Rochester Quadra Jet 4 barrel. There are several good carb books in book stores and online that have this particular carb info. You can go to NAPA parts store with carb ID tag number and they can get you a carb kit for it. You will need carb cleaner, and compressed air to clean and dry it. Carbs are not for the novice and you must maintain cleanliness on assembly. Read the book and decide if that is the route they want to go and may want to consider a rebuilt unit from a reputable supplier. Good Luck.
