I' just got An 88 blazer with the TBI motor and pulled it and droped a 454 with an HEi distributor into it and want some advice about hooking the distributor up ive seen the coil conversion kits but wanted someone who has done this before advece thanks

do you want to keep the coil in the cap or install a seperate coil? To be honest, the stock arrangement is alright as long as you don't live in a hot location and don't plan on racing the vehicle. otherwise using a seperate coil is really no different than using stock, just make sure the wire from the BAT terminal on the cap is wired to constant battery voltage when the key is in the on and start position, usually you will find a slot in your fuse panel that is set up already. DO NOT WIRE TO A SLOT THAT SHOWS VOLTAGE WHEN THE KEY IS IN THE OFF POSITION, you will fry your module and coil eventually
