I acquired an engine by estate sale, and need help ID-ing the pistons. This engine is a 383 stroker based on a late-80s high-nickle block, Lunati Pro-series forged 3.750 crank, Carrillo 6" rods, and hand-selected and built by a professional machinist. The pistons are .010 over, forged, pop-ups, floating pins, and have a number '6098A2' stamped into the crown. Any insight on the make, part number, specs on these would be greatly appreciated!

They should be 350 pistons that are .010 over since a 383 stroker is a 350 block with a 400 crank.

Sorry to say, but we aren't figuring anything out here...
That number isn't turning up anything in a part number search. If you need to know the dome volume a buret may be necessary.
