Hi everyone,
I just purchased a 1998 chevy 350, I was wondering if a mechanical fuel pump can be used on this engine? Do you have to finish drilling out the hole that is in th block? Does the cam have a lobe on it to operate a mechanical fuel pump? Any help is appreciated
Thank you,
Mike

I am sure you have already checked this, but I am not positive that they came with mechanical fuel pump bosses then, since everything they were put in used fuel injection, requiring an electric fuel pump in the gas tank.

Electric pump, mount it on the frame at the rear. Has to be an inline pump because of clearance issues. Just went through this. MUCH cheaper than having the block machined
