Greetings Chevy Fans!
I have a technical question that I need help on. I have a '92 Chevy Silverado that I plan on beefing up the botton end and for the top end I was thinking of putting the Iron Vortec Heads matched with an Edelbrock intake. I was wanting to know do ya'll think that my factory throttle body will work on this application? I was also hoping I could get ya'lls opinion on what size cam to use. Any response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I plan on keeping it a daily driver. Thanks again!

I think that would be a great combo, but the TBI to Vorec head intake is rather expensive (almost $300). Here's a link. I've got a stock 350 TBI with a .420 X .442 lift cam. It only has 112 degrees of lobe separation when there should be at least 114 degrees. I also installed an ADS Superchip hoping to settle down my cam/computer conflict at idle. It kind of stumbles a little when warm at idle. But I've got really good power and over 19 MPG on the highway. 1990 Chevy Astro "Family Holler" 1973 350 V8 with TBI Hedman headers, high-flow cat, dual 3-inch exhaust TransGo shift kit

Also, you will want to upgrade the valve springs on the vortec heads, I just put some on a 350, the Comp beehive springs will work without machine work, larger diameter springs will require machining the spring seats on the heads so they will fit. Good luck.
