Does anyone know if someone makes a non-stock valve cover (polished aluminum or chrome) that will fit a '67 Chevelle SS 396 w/ factory A/C and power brakes?  I don't have any problem getting the dimpled driver's side cover, but getting something to fit the passenger's side where the A/C comes into play is a problem.  We previously had a 454 in the car w/ stock '67 covers that worked fine, but when we sold that motor to put a fresh one in, we didn't think to rob the valve covers.  We could purchase a set of stock covers, but I would prefer a more custom look if possible.  The new motor is a '70 402 block and has roller rockers instead of the stamped steel rockers if this is an issue.  Thanks for any info. you may have.

if  the car had a big block in it than any shorty valve cover should work unless your rockers require the extra space www.jegs.com have a wide selection and a 24hour tech line

If all else fails you can get a factory set of valve covers chromed or ceramic coated in a range of colors by a shop that does this sort of work. Powder coat shop or Plating shop. This type of service is a lot more common these days than it was just a few years ago.

Hope this helps you some.
