I had to replace my old 1406 with a new one. This new one  has a electric chock , I tied into the lead power wire that gose down to the starter. The car runs fine, every time I get into my car to head to work my battery is dead. I unplugged the lead to the electric chock to see if that was the problem. Now evertime I put the car in reverse it dies out on me, then acts like it willn't start, but the battery still has some juice. What do I have to do to fix this problem? Will I have to find another power wire, what can I tie into and not drain my battery?

you need to find a "key-hot" only power source for your electric choke.  I eventually broke down and used the hot wire from my radio.  Wasn't using it anyway in my rod.  Basically piggyback the hot wire onto a source that only works with the key in the "on/run" position of your ignition.  I also thought about splicing it into my windsheild wiper hot.  If you run it directly from the battery or a constant hot source you will drain your battery and possibly damage the electric elements in the choke mechanism from overheating them.
