I have a 350 chevy crate motor and am having trouble finding the correct year to buy a head gasket kit for it. I searched on the web and found it was a 1984 on one site and a 1994 on the other. The engine has Made in Mexico 3 GM and then 10066036 on the drivers side behind the head next to the firewall. On the front of the engine on the passenger side where the water pump bolts up it has 2m0627 with 6vp under it.
Can anyone help me out? Any help at all would be appreciated
Thanks,
scott

man...as long as you dont get a head gasket for a 3rd gen engine youll be fine... Order a head gasket for a 69 camaro 350 or a 81 chevy van 350 or a 86 caprice 350...theyre all 4"bore and the gaskets are the same. If it was amde in mexico....than any of the above will work. -Shred

Close enough Theyll fit unless its somthing like a super victor intake. A regular performer/ performer rpm/ torquer II will fit. God bless -Shred
