Has anyone purchased anything from Larrys Performance @larrysperformance.com? Are they a reputable company?

I HAVE A 454 SHORT BLOCK IN MY 65 BISCAYNE THAT I PURCHASED FROM THEM. I BOUGHT HEADS, ETC AND PUT THE REST TOGETHER. HAVE ONLY A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES ON IT SO FAR, BUT I AM HAPPY THUS FAR. CAN'T SAY THE SAME FOR AMERICAN SPEED IN ILLINOIS. THAT ONE WAS A $2300 REPAIR AT MY EXPENSE AFTER SPENDING $6000 ON A 383. FIRST TIME, IT NEVER GOT OUT OF THE BACK OF MY EL CAMINO. CAME LOOSE FROM THE SHIPPING FRAME. SECOND TIME IT HAD 126 MILES ON IT AND DEVELOPED A BOTTOM END KNOCK. DID EVERYTHING THEY TOLD ME TO DO AND THEIR WARRANTY COMPANY BLEW ME OFF. SO I PAID TO HAVE IT FIXED. NOW HAS 3000 MILES ON IT. OK SO FAR.

I am looking into one of the 415 short block assembly kits.  Just want to know if you experienced any issues with the quality or customer service department.  i called to get more info and it seemed to me as if they were a MOM and POP shop.

I got the same impression. I have only about 500 miles on the 454, but had no problems. I would buy from them again. I paid bigs bucks once for a 383 stroker that was dyno'd before I got it, it lasted 126 miles... but that was from another place.
