I like everything about the new Camaro but the Front grill. It looks cheap and tacked on they should use the old standard egg crate like that which was used on the 69 model. Other wise I like the overall body lines they follow the origionals perfectly.

Too bad GM can't come up with any styling ideas beyond the industry wide and getting boring "reto" look. At that GM is following the trend rather than setting it. That's pretty sad commentary for a company that used to lead industry style and technology trends. I guess they ran out of ideas after Harley Earl and Zora Duntov. This new breed of managers and designers appear to be pretty clueless about their market or they wouldn't have canned the Camaro in the first place.

But at least we get the Camaro back, now hopefully GM won't price it like the 40 thousand dollar GTO, so the average guy working at Wall Mart might be able to afford one.

GM is in pretty deep Kim Chi, this better work to improve market share and profitability before the company slides off the Dow Jones index and into obscurity.

Market share, market share, market share is the solution to GM's problems, you guys have got to do better. That probably requires revamping your product labeling and crunching new relationships onto your dealers. Among other things it's way past time to end the internal competition.

I'm getting tired of seeing GM running behind Toyota's techcnial advances and Chryslers marketeering of retro cars. You guys can't keep surrending market share to *** Crap and Chrysler of all things.

I have to agree with old bogie, why did we lose the Camaro in the first place? I have been a GM guy all my life but I have to admit Ford done a hell of a job on the retro Mustang! Chrysler screwed up the new Charger beyond belief,  but the Challenger looks real good as far as retro goes. I can't beleive GM is 3 to4 years behind! My plan is to buy one of these new Camaros, I have an 80 and a 95 now and will be selling them to get a new Camaro but they better get it right. I'm 51 and this will probably be my last toy, so GM lets get it Right.........ZRated

I was in Detroit and saw the Camaro.  I agree 100% with you.  I think they should ditch the bowtie and put the Camaro Sheild up front.

I have only seen pictures so far,but i DO NOT like the large tire & rim combo.I hope there is room for someone to install something I/they like better. The rest looks ok so far,at least untill i see it up close.I think the only reason gm stoped make it was so they could do the come back.Like everthing thing else $$$$$.I think gm could or should have done a better job and im sure its out of my price range,i guess i might have a shot of owning one at 100,000 miles when i am in my 60s only 45 now so what a - - - - shame!!!!

All i know is that new camaro is going to be out of reach for most of us and that the affordable basic camaro is going to be slower than a hyunday tiburon gt.

base model is supposed to be around $25,000.  Look at Chey Hi's main page under the hot news.  GM unveiled the Camaro with a 6.0L 400hp LS2.  Yes, they really need to reconfigure the front end and get rid of the egg crate grill.  They also need to get away from the huge rim/tire combo.  I'm more of a 15in rime kind of guy, but I think 17's might look more fitting.
