I am interested in building a 700+hp engine that will run on E85. I currently have two blocks to choose from. One is a stock 350 another is a stock 400. I am open to either making a 377, 383 or 406. Which would be the best route and components? I am putting it in a 3400 pound Camaro with a 4500 stahl, powerglide and 4:56 rear gears. I would like to run low 10s to high 9s on motor only if possible . The only other parts I have are a set of 350 Edelbrock Performer RPM 64cc heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Torker II intake and two Holly Double Pumper Carbs. One is a 700 cfm and another is a 850 cfm. This will be used primarily for Drag Racing and on occasion, used for a car cruise. Any tips at all would be helpful, thanks.

Use the stock 350 block.

Thank you. Would you go with the 377 or 383? With the rear-end gears and a 1.76 glide in it, this motor will be hitting 6800-7000 rpm at the finish line. What kind of internals would I need to keep it all together?
