I know power wise I am going backwards ***
I need to get my 82 z back on the road.  I have a 73 350/t-350 in my camaro... engine is bad, unknown history on the trans. I have the option of picking up a whole 82 berlinetta with the 305/ t-200C? trans in it.  my question is, is this trans computer controled? I dont have the computer in mine anymore.... if so, how can I get around it? or would it be easier to just leave the t-350 in.
I am assuming (yah I know, never assume) that the basic block/bellhousing/intake patterns are the same between the 305 and the 350....

the 305 and 350 are inter changeable. the Metric 200 is not computer controled but the t350 is twice the trans.. I worked for a trans shop in high school and replaced many 200's. I would stick with the T350.

Thanks
Hydrulics for the lock up?

It may come down to a matter of time.... quicker to just pull and install it all as a unit... but still have to find out the history of the t-350.... kind of a question of where and what it came from...
