This is not going to be easy for the gasoline people but please hang in there.  There is two thing that pump gas does when it is injected with nitrous into any engine - it tries to heat the nitrous and it tries to detonated because it does not bring much charge cooling to the party!  If - and let's say IF a person was to install a seperate fuel tank in the back of a chevelle and it contained 12 gallons of e85 ethanol - the party would start.  Injecting (105 ethanol) with nitrous is not considered street (Sports Man Like) - it will take you to the promise land.  You will run coooooler and you will not blow your motor due to heat build up.  If you are going to the strip - you will have better between round cool downs than your gas buddies and get out of the day with more steady ET.'s.  A twelve gallon e85 tank with it's own pump, regulator, and jets - is alot easier to manage then some 92octane system that runs off the same tank your gas comes from.  Let's have some talk with people who race methanol and ethanol and want to give some numbers.                    chris

Doesnt alchohol require much more comp. ratio to take advantage of its non-detonating characteristics?
