ok,,,here it is,,I can't tell you how many people I have pointed in this direction. The big question is,,,,,do you like spending more money than you need to,,,,I don't think so,,,,,,So log on to ebay and look for ebay stores, the two I use on a regular basis are,,,whiteperformance,,they are in Tenn.and,,,Shannon industries,,you can build just about anything you want for about a third of what your going to spend at Jegs or Summit. They also have crate engines available. The parts are excellent,,I know because I use them.No junk at either store.LOok under car and truck parts. If you have a difficult time finding them let me know and I will give you a sale number that will help you locate them.

600+ horsepower at the flywheel will most likely require a power adder.

My buddy built a 406 last year for his nova. Good parts, healthy cam, good compression and it made 368 rear wheel on the dynojet. It was a little fat and the timing was close but I think that 375 or 380 is all she would have made. 500 rear wheel seems a little high for your small block on pump gas but Im sure it could be done

A little off the subject but I built a 350 and had the block zero decked now it sucks intake gaskets. like it's cool. I'm guessing I should have had the intake machined to match?
