I have a 67 camaro rs, I want to run 17" rims,
Front-17-7 with a 245/45
I need front springs but not sure if I should get stock size or a 2" drop. I have asked around but keep getting told it wont work. Any Ideas?

A 245/45 aspect ratio tire is best suited for a little wider rim than 7 inch but can be done.  You will have to check your clearances from mounting flange (brake rotor or drum installed) to wheel well clearance inside and outside especially important if you drop it. This Camaro should be safe for a 17x7 rim with no additional offset and a little narrower tire like 205/45 or 215/45.
Start by looking at www.alloywheels.com for tire and rim calculator that explains tire/rim size and circumference difference.
