Looking to sell a 64 Chevy Bel Air, 4 door, with original 283 engine. It has only had two owners, was the first owners daily driver, and has mostly sat with the second owner. Almost everything is factory, engine, tranny, interior, but it's tired and dirty, a real project car. Not real sure what to ask. Any input would be great!

Welcome to the forums, that sounds like a nice project car. As for the price I'm really not sure. Anyone have any price quotes.

I'm from central kansas area and just bought the same descript car for 1500.00 and thought I got a good deal, it was a daily driver. Due to a valve sticking and doing it's own "mechanic work " on the head and piston, I am now dropping in a 327 bored .60 over with steel crank and forged balanced assembly, .292-.501 cam, 624 heads with 3 angle valve job and screw in studs with triple valve springs, hooker headers with dual 2.5" pipe and looking for a manifold and carb and ideas on the whole project.
