Alright today I was sitting at a stop light in my 1966 Chevy C-10, when a SRT10 pulled up beside me and wanted to race. From the looks and sounds, he might of had a Cold Air, Chip, and Flowmaster Super 40's. My 66' has a 1984 350 bored 0.030" over, 1.94 Closed Chambered Heads With a Triple Angle Valve Job, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock Performer 750CFM Carb, K&N Filter, Hooker Comp. Headers with 1 5/8" tubes going to a 3" collecter, Electronic open header switch, 3" pipe to a 3" X-Pipe, to 2 single Flowmaster Super 44's dumped, a Turbo 400 with a Shift Kit and a 2500 stall TQ converter, a 4 Link, and 4.11 gears. Well the dude got pissed off when I beat him by over 6 truck lengths just stop light to stop light, so he rear ended me. Totaled the SRT10 OUT!!!! He put a ding about 1/4" thick on my bumper that is about 1" long. Should I still make him BUY me a new one??? And CHEVYS RULE!!!!!!!!!

REAL likely story...
You can tell if the truck is chipped by sound, that's pretty amazing.
But I forgot, you're a better storyteller than judge of performance.

I didn't say that it had one, it was just faster then a stock SRT10. It did have a cold air, and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The reason it didn't do anymore damage then that is because my bumpers like 3/4" thick. I havn't heard from his ins. co. yeat, but I know his SRT10 is getting totaled out because the motor was partly pushed into the cab and his frame was bent right by the lower A-Frame.

It pushed the engine into the cab and it only put a ding on your bumper. Do you really think myself and everyone else reading this was born yesterday?
I don't believe that your truck would beat a v-10 truck, and I don't believe that someone would crash their $50,000 vehicle because they got beat in a stoplight to stoplight street race. And you're trying to tell me that the motor ended up in the cab and that you're unscathed. Wow, go find a different place for this garbage.

Well mr *** GURU appeartly you havn't drove a truck from the 80's on back, and the SRT10's are *** SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My friend in a stock 97' Honda Accord 3.0L V-6 can keep up with one. So why the *** can't a 5.7 keep him????? Yes, there are Stupid people in Texas. Like I have a Ford Lightning that wants to race me Saturday, even though he runs mid 14's and I usually run low 13's to high 12's.Why would he want to do that? Well tell me??? There are people here with more money then cents.
