and just as a side note,i have an article in another publication where they build a 383,using the AFR 195'S,10-1 compression,Comp hydraulic roller (242 intake,248 exhaust .540,562") air gap intake, and 850 Mighty Demon,made 550 hp and 515 ft lbs of torque.Performer Rpm Air Gaps work.

You know how it's all about the combo? I worked with a builder to put together a 427 sbc that went 630hp/595ftlbs @ 6200/5000 on the engine dyno (w/ electric water pump). I copied almost everything, except AFR 210 eliminators (v old fully CNC version of AFR 210s), a couple more degrees of exhaust duration @ 0.050 and a little more exhaust lift, 112 lsa (v 110), and an RPM Air Gap (v a Vic Jr). I should've had my combo dyno'd but didn't. It's about 3mph/.3sec slower in a 300lbs heavier car with a crappier driver (me in my chevelle vs my bro in his camaro). I always wonder if it's me, the extra couple degrees lsa, or the intake that covers the difference (but it might just be weight).

Loved the intake test. CHP is kicking butt. I'm at the edge of my (toilet) seat waiting to see if you find where the RPM AG can't keep up.

Henry - If you'd help with the work, I'd do the intake swap at Bradenton (FL) with you to get some before/after times (should be all over the 11s w/o using spray). If it's slower with a big single, you'd have to help me put the AG back on.

i think CHP should kill 2 birds with 1 stone...build a high comp 406-421 to test the single planes,and use a set of the new AFR 210 Eliminators,which i havnt seen a test on as of yet..,what do u boyz think???????
