I have a 454 with TH400 and NP205. I found a TH400 with a NP208 from a chevy small block. Are these the same bell housings and can they bolt up to the BB? ![]()

every chevy motor from 4 cyl 6 cyl small block and big block are the same. yes it will fit.

a 4 cyl chevy tranny will not bolt to sbc... and a 2.8 v6 wont bolt to a 4.3 v6... but sbc and bbc and the 4.3 v6 will all have the same bell housing bolt pattern... just to clear that up.. you should be in the clear

Yes, but I would use the NP205 tranfer case. It is a gear drive while the 208 has a chain
|
