383 stroker carb fuel floodin problem ?????? pls i need your help!!!!

sometimes when racing my engine,it seems to flood and stalls after i depress the gaz pedal .... even after it stalls , the fuel keeps going in the carburetor !!! and the engine is hard to start and even when it starts it keeps stalling after that !! i really need some trick or advice from you !! Do you know what could cause that ? i mean the carb had been jetted properly and float level is right where it supposed to be ! pls help me ! thx in advance !!!!

Could be the accelerator pump sticking. You could also have too much fuel pressure.

2 things happened to me--first, fuel pressure was on the high side but mostly the needle valve in the fuel inlet kept getting stuck open. I kept tapping the float bowl to un-stick it. I put new needle valve assemblies in there and it worked but the other thing I noticed was it was hard to find a set that did not leak even with lower fuel pressure; at least using assemblies from our local speed shop.
