I fianly have my 1976 nova togather. 350 TH350 tranie still runing the quadjet..need beter carb... but will do for first pass. Fianly got it not to bog down when I put my foot down hard. Instaled 2 turbo muflers. Got to love that rumble. Everything else is stock. Tomorow the local track is celebrateing the 4th and around 3pm they are leting who ever wants to make a few passes to do so for just $10. The track is just 1/8 mile and still not expecting much. But i am excieted. This is my first real racecar build. In my lifetime I have only made 3 or 4 passes and not on a powerful car. This should be fun!! I will post times and speeds on monday. Have fun guys and thanks for the help.

Good luck and be safe. Remember if if does this

let off the throttle
And don't forget to open the parachute when you go through the lights.

OK I know that this is not to impressive yet, but here are the stats for this weekend.

1/8th mile.
10.235 @ 78mph. reaction time is .523sec.
10.121 @ 82mph. reaction time is .498sec.
10.098 @ 83mph. reaction time is .451sec.

I know my reaction time will improve as I get to know the car beter. As a noob with a stock 350, I think thease stats are respectable. Now I konw where I am at I can see how I improve as I add things.
